Sunday 13th January 2008 - Write a comment

Hello, so welcome to www.ilovekittykiller.co.uk! You may have already come across my barren myspace page and you may not have. Either way I hope you can spare some time to take a look at some of the work I have produced over the past few years and leave your thoughts!

This week has been a hectic one for me! I found out on Wednesday I got an A in my AS-Level English coursework, which while this was exactly what I needed I was in no way expecting it! It’s a form of conformation that I can write and a big boost to my sometimes lacking self belief. Thursday I had my exam, I am quietly confident about it but only time will tell what grade I achieved. I can re-sit this exam in May but would rather not have the stress of another exam to revise for. Although the amount I have done now you’d think I was a pro!

I decided a break was needed after all this academic and often dull work and so spent Friday and Saturday after work relaxing with friends. Friday evening saw me enjoying Wagamamas and St.Trinians with an old school friend. I hadn’t seen Anna since she left for Bristol Uni in September so this was a perfect opportunity to catch-up on everything that had happened in the past few months. It was also the first time I have eaten Wagamamas! While I am open to anything new spicy food in not my favourite, however I must admit the Chick Katsu was extra delicious. Just as Anna dropped me home we saw two foxes running up and down my road, they were the sweetest things!

Saturday was spent at work, except not a lot of work was done. Donna kept me entertained throughout the day with soft mints and conversations of varying oddities. When we had finished work G, Vivienne, Ben and I went to Nandos. After a table swap we had a great time despite G having had a little too much wine. At least he didn’t spill it all down himself like Ben! The other three went on to the cinema to watch I Am Legend, however I didn’t fancy seeing the film and made my way home to work on this very website! I bumped into Ellie at the train station before Tommy Hall joined us for a brief and bizarre conversation during which Tommy sang at two strangers. It was good to see Ellie but I still miss her and all the other girls from college! Those two years were absolutely brilliant and I can’t believe they are over.

This week I also fell head over heels in love with a certain star patterned Chanel dress and bought a brand new Creative Zen mp3 player. The mp3 player is amazing and I would recommend it to anybody looking for an alternative to those pesky i-pods. However there is no way to make it list an album by track listing and not alphabetically which can be seriously annoying. However I think it makes a nice change to listen to songs I’ve heard many times before in a new order.

I also have two articles in the pipelines this week while I have some time off before English lessons start up again. One is quite current and enables me to air my thoughts on a certain celebrity who does not impress me and the other is about an old school favourite. Once the articles are written I will post them up, any opinions will be welcomed!

That’s it for now,
